clutch fan clearance

Picked up a new clutch fan and shroud at Chrysler nationals yesterday(Wow what a show!)Checking to see how much clearance should I have between the clutch and the radiator.I have about an inch,will that be enough?Thanks

Great cause just had it running for about 45 mins and the highest temp was 178! Works great-hopefully no more overheating!

How much of a temp drop did you see installing the shroud and clutch fan. I just bought a used shroud at a local show but passed on the clutch fan. Wondering if the clutch fan makes that big of a difference?

At least 25-30 degrees

Clutch fan and shroud make a huge difference. Spacing should be at least 3/4 inch
