we have an unknown 69 Charger; originally 383, now 440. Have 3 1/4 space from front of pulley to radiator. Can't find a clutch fan short enough. What flex fan is good? (have a 2" spacer we can use).

I think that factory HP 5 blade is supposed to be the best.

Does the car have a radiator shroud? If not, a flex fan won't do any good unless you are only running a 1/4 mile at a time.

NEVER run a flex fan. they are built cheap and will come apart and likely go through your rad.

AMEN! I wouldn't use one as a slow turning ceiling fan. I always use a clutch fan because they work AND free up some HP at high RPM.

I bought the summit setup for my gTx..Didn,t fit with my aluminum radiator...If you want it i,ll sell it for 75.00 shipping included!!!
Petty Blue 67 gTx

I managed to shove the end of one of them Damn flex fans into my wrist one time when the wrench sliped on the trans cooler line! stuck in there like a knife blade.... OUCH!

Thanks, guys. Yeah, wanted away from the flex, but can't find a non a/c clutch, which seems to be the only fit.

Dang I just sent mine back too, Mine would not fit with an aluminum rad...3 core so went electric with t-stat adjustable temp sensor. Not on the road yet so can't tell you how it does but keeping my fingers crossed lol

Got my no a/c clutch from rock auto and a 19" fan from summit total $40 us for both.
