does any one out there remember clutchflite transmissionsfairbanks racing had a kit where as you cut off bellhousing, installed a scattershield and a manual clutch, you only used the clutch to stop and go,once you dropped the clutch you just shifted like an automatic would, i did this with a turbo 400 in a 64 nova ,it was alot of fun,but fair banks no longer makes it,and says it has no past literature or old instruction sheets ,i would like to look into having the parts made ,from what i remember,it wasn,t alot of parts. if you or anyone you can think of would have any old instructions or knowledge about these types of set ups i would like to hear from them.sorry for the book marty

I ran one of these in I think 67. Art Carr built it as a replacement for a blown 727.
that was behind my MW.
A guy talked me into it but it was a mistake.
Couldn't hookup and never could cut a good light. I couldn't get used to it
and sold it in 68. That thing sure was fun when it shifted though, First time I think it was Lions, it scared the crap out of me, the car tried to switch lanes when it went to Second.
