column shift question

I am in the process of changing out the 318/904 combo for a 440/727 combo in a 68 Coronet

can I make my existing column shift linkage work from the 904 to the 727?

Yes, it should all hook right up no problem

The column rod, frame bracket and trans rod are the same for 904 to 727 but the torque shaft and trans bracket are different from a 904 to a 727 and will not interchange correctly
