column to floor shifter

i have a 74 charger with the 727 trans. i am wanting to go from the column shift to a floor shifter. what parts do i need besides the shifter? thanks.

non shift column if you want to do it rite

yeah im going to do it right, i was wondering about linkages or cables, stuff like that

You need the shifter and console from a 71 to 74 B or 70 to 74 E body. Your steering column has to come from a 73 to 79 B body. Our Columns are different from the 72 and older B body cars as is our front ends. Also be sure to get the brackets that goes in those two bolt holes at the back of the trans tail housing to stabilize the shifter. All of this stuff can be found on ebay.
