My gas tank on my 77 Cordoba was lined about 10 years ago from 'Gas Tank King' in Hamilton Ontario (which is now closed). They had a lifetime warranty on any rusting, ect. I was told by a Hot Rod shop owner that the product put in tanks to line will peel off and plug the filters and cause nothing but problems. Has anyone heard of this issue?

I was planning on swapping with the smaller Spectra CR21A since I have dual exhaust and the tail pipes look stupid the way they are, but could be at a later date when I'm ready.

I've lined many motorcycle tanks and found that if the prep work is done correctly, the product I used worked well. If you've gotten 10 years on it I say keep going until you change the tank. If it clogs the filter, you'll know it...

I had my tank done by "Gas-tank Renu" about 15-20 years ago and no problems. As mentioned, it's all in the prep work. If it works, use it till it breaks.
