Commercial washing machine

It pays to clean out the filter at the bottom of a top loader machine on a regular basis....remove the agitator, then the filter is exposed.

Word of caution with tumble dryers..... be careful with clothing that has pull-cord clasps on the ends of the cords.....they get caught up in the rubber seal and eventually tear off or grind away at the drum inside.

I cleaned mine out last year.....not bad considering the amount of use it gets - at least 6 times a week, every week.

Well I figured I’d finish up with our purchase. We got the Speed Queen Classis top load. I wanted front load and SQ, wife wanted topoad and cheaper. So this was a good compromise.

I've paid the most for some and found the more basic the better. Electronics are the first to go. Give me a few different cycles and water levels and we're done. Have you ever had a front loader stop working full of water. Top loaders for me. Just my opinion, but a front loader is a little bit like a screen door on a submarine.

Speed Queen is strictly a commercial unit. The same guts are in the laundromat units. The only difference is the coin thingy.
We bought our Speed Queen top loader in 2003 and it still works like new. We have city of Chicago water by me so that's a plus.
My Wife would like a new washer and dryer but this **** won't die! Of course I'd buy another Speed Queen! I used to work for
G.E. and back in 2013 they sold their entire appliance division to Haier, a Chinese company. JUNK! I have a 2005 G.E refrigerator
with the front take-out door and it won't die either. Our daughter has had Samsung, LG, and Kitchen Aid refrigerators in the past
ten years and they all keep breaking down. Since I can't buy G.E. anymore for a refrigerator, our next one will be a Sub Zero. Gulp!
Lotsa Penunzia! Oh, I forgot to mention that Speed Queen is designed and built in Ripon Wisconsin!
