Have any of you '65 Coronet people used AAR's fiberglass bumpers? My originals are bent and rusted and I plan to go with body color paint on the bumpers when the time comes anyway. Wondering how they fit. And $159 each is pretty cheap compared to the alternative. I also like the idea of adding a body part that is guaranteed to never rust.:toothy5:

thanks,

Dan

Not a 65, but my 64 has the AAR front fiberglass bumper and I like it. The holes for the bolts are marked and my dremel took care of cutting them out. Fit n finish was great, needed some triming, not too much though. Just an fyi, the rear bumpers are the same for the 65 coronet and 64 polara.

Haven't heard any negatives! And the parts I've seen always looked good.

Considering 'glass front bumper for my '64 Belvedere and AAR seems to be good quality and reputable. Any comments on the slots/holes to mount the parking / turn signal lights?
Thank you.

I have them (AAR)on a 67 A body and fit and gel coat finish was great. all holes that need to be drilled(said above) are dimpled and brackets line right up.Sand, paint, done.
