Has anyone had a top installed on their 62-65 B-body with some minor (I think minor) modifications for the rear window and framing? The original top had the huge back soft plastic window all the way to the deck (no bottom framing). I'm looking to have a smaller window possibly hard plastic polycarbonate and framing (by the top material) along the bottom similar to the later 60's early 70's tops. Hard plastic may not be an option; but if so like to consider. Thanks.

In the day, back when I still had my 63 ragtop, and same rear window, think I recall some would pull it. Just un-zips.
And make a two-piece plexiglass window, top and bottom halves, joined in the middle with some sort of flexing material. That would allow the window to 'fold', when the top went down.
But, I never got into it, before I sold the car (dammit).

I have seen this. Wondering if a smaller window would get away from that need though the fold area to do this could make for one small window! I could then install some truck mirrors...some bad morning humor.
