The place they converter the wing cars was near where I lived. When I was 13, I would finish my paper route & go stare at the cars lined up end to end & dream of what it would be like to fly in one of those cars! I still have a soft spot for winged cars. If I didn't have my Super Bee, I know what I would be driving! The building are still there. One of the buildings is now a quick oil change place.
Cool photos for sure, Be nice to see those all again, sure looks better then the line ups you see now, However, the new Challengers look nice and bring back some memory's of when cars looked like cars, that and easy to know one from another at a glance.
Hey 383 man the darts with the hemis in them were made in Windsor.Plant 3 ,i started Chrysler in 1968 ,i remember them being there.They had a sticker on them ,that stated ,made for the drag strip only
