Cope Racing transmisions anyone using one?

I did bring you up and he remember you! He said you had some pictures of the instal. Think you can post a few? I told him he had several A+ reviews and no negatives.

I sure hope John remembers me, we are friends on FB. I will get his pictures of the install up hopefully tonight for you. Oh, you know you will need a shortened drive shaft with the GV unit.

I just installed one in a build I'm doing for an FBBO member. Looks good upon arrival and no issues found so far bolting it up, etc.. That's all I have for now.

John told me the ctitical thing is getting the end play in the tail shaft right. 440Beep 10-4 on the driveshaft!

Pictures from John installing the GV unit. John had to cut and move the H-pipe as it was in the way.

Thanks for the pictures, very helpful! I like the electric cut outs. I also have a set to put on. I think I'll put some kind of insulation on my exhaust in that area. Looks like it could heat up the OD being that close.

I have his Prostreet 727 in my 66 Satellite, street/strip car. Manual shift is hard & consistent, only 500 street miles for me & about 20 runs at the track. Works great. His parts combinations make lots of sense to me. I called the other day to double check the fluid capacity & recommended fluid type. Very pleasant.

Well it should be in my hands Monday. That's a full 2 weeks earlier than he quoted. Which is great. Would recomend him highly. can't wait to try it out!

Update on mine. It's in the car and man does it work GREAT!!!
Shifts are firm and quick. Very satisfied.

Can you give us any numbers? RPM @ 55 & 70 with &wo the OD your rear ratio. Thanks

Its moot now, but I was really impressed with the 904 Cope built for me.

It was in the Dart in my sig. Took it apart after two years of hard racing, everything looked brand new...
