Will the front bumper off of any Plymouth fit my 66 coronet? A guy told me he has one on a 66 or 67 plymouth. Also said it does not have any lights or anything in it.

Hmmmm.....all of the B bodies are on the same chassis so they should be close on width. Ask him to measure from fender skin to fender skin where the bumper wraps around. If they are the same or within an 1/2 or so then go for it. Or if not you can always section them to add or subtract some to make it fit. I added about 1 5/8 to my '70 Road runner rear bumper to fit behind my '67 Coronet. You may have to finagle a bit with bumper mounting brackets though.

That's what I was thinking. I may check it out.

MIGHT fit but not the same. Plymouth Belv or Satell
P/N 2533425 Coronet 2533475. The shape facing body is different. Satellite bumper picture shows optional bumper guards.

Hmmm...looks like the brackets are at least the same. Looks like the coronet one has a slight bend in the center and the satellite is a little flatter?
Wonder how close they are....I may measure and if it's close and cheap enough...try to make it work. These 66 coronet bumpers are hard to come by.
Thanks for the replies by the way!!!

Made you can push it out from body if needed and make a filler piece? If you don't like it sell the bumper.

Yea that's what I thought if I can get it cheap enough.

There's one up here near the Canadian border at Gates salvage on a 66 wagon.

Plus if you have the skills you can slice the center top and push the two ends together to get that slight bend from the center. Also might have to rework the fender nose area to match the bumper profile. I did.

That's true, be sure that is what you want your car to look like before you pull the trigger. What I did was save a picture of each car with a frontal shot at the same distance from the camera and place them on my desk top on the computer and study them side by side. Even went so far as to print them up and cut the bumper out of the picture and stick it on the picture of my car to see how it looked to me. Good luck.

Yea...I'm gonna hunt for the correct bumper a little more before I jump into modifying the wrong one.

let me know if you can't find one and i'll be glad to drive up there and yank that one off of the wagon and ship it to you.

No but in accordance with the prices I have paid for other stuff up there I would expect to pay around 75- 100 bucks. Hell, maybe less. I paid 82 bucks to ship my back bumper to a guy some where on the eastern side of the country.

Your very welcome pal, we need to stick together and help each other out when we can.

I have been meaning to ride up there anyway, and see what all remains. They were talking about crushing everything older than 1980 a year of so ago. I called last month and they had not done it yet. That would comprise about 3-4 acres of old cars and trucks from 1920-1980. They do have a standing policy to sell any complete, or mostly complete car from that section for $500 bucks cash. There are many cool cars and trucks in that category too. The 66 Wagon is one.
