Guys...just wondering if anyone has used this product and if it worked well...and close to the correct color. I guess "cast iron color" should be correct, but never used the Eastwood product...thoughts and feedback are appreciated!
Actually they were painted with the motor, though that burned off in short order then they rusted. So the correct "color" is, uh, rust.
That said, I've heard blasting them clean and then rubbing them down with powdered graphite gives a nice, fresh cast appearance that doesn't burn off. Full disclosure: i have yet to try this myself, just picked up on another forum.
I've blasted 2 sets of manifolds clean and used that Eastwood product on them. They look good, but eventually start rusting again - which is the correct color anyway lol.

Thanks..mine were done quite a few years ago in a gray color and are starting to turn the correct color now, lol. Going to freshen them up and was wondering if this would look half decent when finished.
