Correct Exhaust Tips 1974 Road Runner

All these tips had orange inserts. I've never seen black inserts on an original car

Is this true? No black inserts were ever stock, only orange?

both my 73 and 74 had long red slots and they were original...and my 71 has short red and are original

The short tips were only used on 1971-72 road runners. The long tips were used on 1971-74 Chargers and 1973-74 road runners. All these tips had orange inserts. I've never seen black inserts on an original car.

Neither have I.
