Getting ready to spray my undercariage on my `70 road runner and need info on the bolt on dual exhaust hanger - was it bolted on before or after undercarriage was primered and if after what is the correct finish for the hanger and nuts?

Looks like same?

dadsbee - you are misunderstanding the question. The drivers side bracket is bolt ON not spot welded so I need to know if the bracket and nuts holding it on were on there before primer or installed after and what finish were they.

I can take more pictures Thursday/Friday with better lighting and closer up (more detailed) if you wish.

The pictures below were taken earlier this afternoon of my EB5 blue '70 Charger 500 driver's side bracket.

I snapped a few more shots today. There are no signs on my car that the removable bracket ever had any body paint on it. I am inclined to believe the bracket (no finish) was installed after the bottom side of the car was painted.

My bracket fasteners are heavily undercoated.I have no idea as to what was the original finish.

I can look at the orange RR tomorrow, it's all original

based on this pic, non undercoated car, I'd say the bracket is installed early on after the dip......and the bolts were left to rust

looks like I removed the bracket for blasting, but reinserted the bolts
