Correct tire size for '69 RoadRunner

What is the largest size tire I can put on a 15 x 7 rim on the front that won't rub?..Thanks for any help!!

depends a bit on the offset of the wheel,but 235 60 15 is about it on a 7.i have seen bigger but you can run into rubbing problems and sidewall roll issues.

Not looking to steal the thread, but same question for 18's all around. Looking to put Boyd's Vintage 5 on my 69' RR. They come in 18X7 on up to 18X14. Available backspacing is 4 to 8.25 for 18X7 and 18X9 and 4 to 6.25 for 18X8 and 18X10. Thanks.

235 60 15 on a 15x7 with 4 or 4.25 BS will work. However, I switched from 235 60 15 to 215 65 15 in front and that eliminated the last bit of vibration I had at highway speeds. I don't know why.
