So do you think that these wheels were standard with the GTX package or a GTX buyer would still have to check the A56 option?

I haven't in my many many years , hence my post about them only being available on C bodies. I have seen them on later B bodies such as the Cordoba and charger SE but not on pre 75 b bodies

Yes, I almost purchased a 74 RR GTX that had these wheels on it. That is why I did the research on the subject. It was white with red stripes and the white and red sundance interior. Awesome car, we just couldn't agree an a price.

Very nice color combo. That red and white interior is called Wimbledon interior. My 74 400 car That I recently sold had Wimbledon interior and was black with red stripes and the styled Road wheels

Widely debated...but I have never seen anything from the factory that shows a "GTX package" in the traditional sense (code A12, A13, A47, A57, A87, etc) that a customer could actually order. The only factory reference I can find in '74 is in the description of the RR in the data book (basically a passing reference to the RR getting the GTX nameplate when the 440 was ordered). I don't see anything on the 74 Satellite order sheet that shows an orderable 'GTX package' per se.

I have one 74 Road Runner 440 window sticker. I believe it to be a bad remake so I don't think it is a good resource for factory documentation. (anyone have a legit RM21U4* window sticker or BS to share???)

all of the 73-74 road runner GTX's that I have seen has had the front and rear sway bars, heavy duty rear leaf springs (7 leaves on right, 6 on left), and torque boxes. Kind of sounds like a package car.

I’m open to seeing documentation as to what came with the 440 option I.e window stickers, broadcast sheets but as far as a “package” that’s ordered, again like an axle package or package car, I’ve never seen any listing or proof of that.

The items you list very well could have come with the upgrade but I’m doubtful the A56 package came with the 440 option.

Yes it does. It also has the heavy duty leave springs with seven leaves on the right side and six on the left. It has 3/8 fuel line with a return line and a vapor separator on the high-volume mechanical fuel pump.

Everything in 74 came with the fuel return line - (mandated emissions). Not sure why the high-volume mechanical fuel pump would have been used. The Thermoquad carb did not require such a pump - (low fuel pressure carb). Not sure a Holley was even offered in 74.

Well certainly not every car used 3/8 fuel line like these cars. High performance fuel pumps aren’t used for pressure- it’s about volume.

Well certainly not every car used 3/8 fuel line like these cars. High performance fuel pumps aren’t used for pressure- it’s about volume.

Not sure how much volume you think it needs. Unless the carb is a total toilet and mpg is in the shitter the pump is bypassing lots of extra fuel.
