Cost to rechrome a bumper

Let us know how nice it is. I would be interested in using them for the Road Runner bumpers since they are closer to me than Tri-City.

my experience in my area price and time wise depended on where the bumper was sent to be done. Many
shops say they do them, but just pack them and ship in mass to a state where there are more chrome facilities.they then just mark them up and charge accordingly.
It has been a while, but I made a trip to Phoenix with four Bumpers, hung around till they were done while visiting relatives. That price they charged told me what the actual cost was. Their shop had semis lined up with all kinds of bumpers from outstate.
That has been a few years, but I would bet the shop is still doing this.

Got my rechromed bumpers today. They did come from AMS Obsolete. I'm very happy with them. Chrome is perfect, no imperfections that I can see.

They look Great ! But I have to ad, Those aren't Bumpers, they're the Grill Surrounds. A "Unique" feature on the '70 Coronets...

In the box was a card from AMS and HerbsParts. Both have same address so I guess AMS bought Herbs.
