COSTCO!!!!

We shop at Costco but not on a regular basis, a few things are worth the membership. The spring water, toilet paper paper towels are a good buy. Also the Phillips jumbo lump crab meat is the best price I can find. We don't care for the meat, we tried the filet and it looks good but some of it tastes like liver. Some of the seafood you have to watch since it has been frozen then thawed.

Their hearing aids are reasonably priced compared to the Audiologists! LOL
The in-law has hearing aids covered by worker’s compensation, possibly military.
Think they are around 10-11,000.00. He he can get them replaced every so often.
My hearing aids from Costco were just over 4,000.00. Have had them for over 5 years. I go in, they clean them, replace the wires etc. I do not pay for any appointment, adjustments filters or domes.

Unless i missed it what about the money back. I have 4 kids on top of that this car hobby that has me spending a great deal of money. So i get about 300 dollars from Costco and another 1000 from there credit card use.

It's 45 minutes away but on the route of occasional trips for other purposes. Not enough people in the household to justify it really, but they do carry a few specific things that we like. I figure for how often we go, we break even on the membership vs. savings. If you have a larger household, a business like a restaurant etc., or just need to pinch pennies, it's worth it.

No one has mentioned the $65.00 you pay up front for the privilege to shop there. I have a membership there and some things are cheaper but seriously doubt I have recovered more than a third of that in savings.
Maybe it's similar to Amazon Prime, which I pay for. It saves me more than that each year in shipping, plus I get their tv programming.

Costco scans your card now to cut down on the fraud for when one person buys a card then lets all of their friends and family use it saving them from having to pay the membership fee.

Costco gas in my area is the cheapest around. Like 50 cents per gallon less that some of the gangsters here.

Rotisserie chicken for $4.99 here is a good deal. They do chicken all day every day and they must sell hundreds of those birds each day.

You have to pay attention on the pricing. Lots of product is a good deal. some, not so much.

My $20 Costco run

I might be the oddball, here, but the idea of having to pay a fee for the "privilege" of spending money at a store has always bugged me, so I've never had one. I do understand the economics of buying in bulk and all of that. But for us, it's just the 2 of us (daughter and husband are in CO), and we're an hour away from a Costco or Sam's. I've just never thought it would be worth it for us because we need to go out of our way to get to one. Having said all of that, the Mrs has recently been talking about joining Costco, so we may just be giving it a try before long. LOL

A friend was telling me about his new hearing aid, and how expensive it was. Definitely not from Costco! I asked him, "What kind is it?". He looked at his watch, and said, "Four-thirty.".

Costco has been in the news for what I consider the wrong reasons as of late; I won't elaborate since this isn't the
correct forum. You know or you don't...
Doesn't matter anyways, since there's not one anywhere near us.
