Anyone added courtesy light under dash for the foot wells that works with the dome light??

Not since I sixteen. lol Red always looked the best in my mind. With the new led light today so much variety.

Last week I drilled holes on each side of the very bottom of the dash (65 Belvedere) to pop in pre wired clear LEDs. Should shine directly in the foot well area.

Can they be hard wired into the door jamb switch wiring so they work with the dome light??

Remember the door jam switch is just ground, so connect there and a full time + wire (like the cig lighter) and you're good to go.

I changed from auto on the column to console auto. I didn't want to cut into existing wiring, for the console lights. Tommy, at Partshound.net, made the appropriate harnesses for me. He does great work. And is Mopar brilliant !

My '67 Coronet came factory with one on passenger side. Wired with the dome light.

A good thing to have for when you drop your phone on the floor at night!

I ran a factory foot well light in my convertible, (has no dome light). I ran it off of the map/courtesy light above the glove box door. Now have plenty of light between the two, works great.
