Cross Member- K- FRAME????

How different is the 65 cross member from 66 and up? Any pics for comparison would be great... 65 is the cut off year for rack and pinion steering. I can't believe it would be that tough to modify a newer setup.

I think I must be getting senile as I totally missed the part about rack and pinion, thought you were talking tranny cross members. :eusa_doh:

I saw that I figured you might not have caught it. I'm right with you in the senile department... lol

I believe your talking about the K frame. The difference between 65-66 is the engine location. The 66 moves the engine aproximately 1.5 inches rearward. With creative trans mount work and a little hammer work on the tunnel/firewall flange it'll fit.
