What exactly are we discussing here?

My 73 has only factory available options added to it with the exception of the radio and the tires (OK, tach, oil and temp gauges).

I'd have no problem driving it cross country tomorrow.

Not to change the subject, but.....wait, what exactly is the subject here? Driving cars that remain as built from the factory? That’s what I do, I like them just the way they left the factory, I like to feel the road, hear the wind whistling through the windlace, don’t mind if it has drum brakes, manual steering, or other primitive appointments. That’s just me tho, and I don’t care how other people do up their cars, that’s their choice. I’ll admire their work, but it’s not for me.
