Doug,

Congratulations on your win yesterday and RU on Sunday. That car of yours is nothing short of impressive. You and Casey both earned everything you won this weekend.

I was a pleasure meeting you. I'm glad you made it down.

dvw congrats on the win..

If you missed this race you need to put it on your calendar for next year. The Quaker City Facility was superb and clean, the track was hooking, the staff was very nice and accommodating, not to mention free coffee and donuts in the morning. Next year will be bigger and better.

Bob George and Norm Fox (owner of Quaker City) did a great job putting together the race and sponsors who guaranteed the pay outs for both days. It was one entry with full pay out both days, even Hemi which had only 5 cars in the class had 100% pay out. Who can ask for more than that.

It was a pleasure meeting DVW and AJ Cassini, two great racers and now friends.

With this being said, I need to thank all of our friends who offered their sorrow for the loss of my mother who passed away back on July 31st. She was not only the pillar of our family but she was also a huge part of our racing. When she passed the motor was
With this being said I want to thank Bob George for sharing Curt's Memory with my Mother last weekend and to top the weekend off Danny Smith and Mike (Squeak) Fowler dedicated there Hemi win to my mother. There isn't words that describe how emotional and healing it was this weekend. Mom thought the world of Curt George and this race was the perfect place to be after her passing. I know her and Curt were together smiling upon us last weekend.

Also this weekend was my first time racing the car, the fastest I went was 10.04 @ 134.00, it's not that fast but not bad for first time out. All can say is it was a blast.

Here are some pictures from Sunday.
