I bought a 71 Roadrunner 4 speed that had alot of its wiring cut. There is a wire that goes from the starter relay (lower front clip) that was cut. I think it goes to the clutch lock out. Can someone tell me where this wire runs and what it does for sure? Also there is a wire that goes thru the firewall at the gas pedal that has been cut. On the engine side of the firewall it goes to the 4 speed connector in the electrical block. Where does this wire go under the dash. Thanks for any help.

On factory 4-speed equipped ’71 Road Runners; the clutch pedal lock-out switch provides a ground for the primary side of the starter relay, relay only engages with pedal depressed. The lead is usually green and passes through the firewall with a molded grommet, and a single bullet connector along the inner fender. The other single lead described connected to the transmission harness is likely the dash reverse indicator lamp lead. It too had its own molded grommet running through the firewall.
