Cylinder Head Identification 1970 340 0202 plate?

The verdict is in they are...... J's i tried a photo on my iphone but it died mid pic from the cold. A strange question did pop up though. It kind looks like the spark plug holes have been widened. There is a portion of the j missing on the drivers front head

those X,J,O and even U castings can be very poorly done
...meaning the cast symbol not the quality of the head/ports

You me a like someone widened them? That would be insane but I guess in this world........

The spark plug hole is wide for the larger plug used in those years. EZ access.

My (915) "J" cylinder head has "0532" and 1.88 intake valves.

The 0532 is 53rd day of 1972 that's why they are 1.88 valves

Hey guys. Quick question for you Gurus. my the heads on my 340 have a casting number of 3418915 from a 1970 340. my question is what is the number that is rivited on the next port? its not cast into the head and reads just 4 digits "0202"? anybody know what this means?

It's not 0202, it's upside down in the picture and it says 03060. that is March 6 1970 and it's not riveted it's how the plate is attached to the casting mold and just look's look's like a rivet.
