Recently picked up a Dana 60 but am having trouble with the BOM#. On the right axle tube I have 1604335, I think it should be 604335, I can't locate anything on the good old interweb about it.

It has 3 bolt holes for a pinion snubber so I'm pretty sure with what I've read that it's from a car and not a truck application. The gears inside are 4.10 with 69/70 manufacture dates.

Can anybody tell me what it came out of?

Thanks

Bill

I bought it from a guy who had it advertised on my local craigslist. He bought it and used it in a camaro he raced years ago.

Did you find out what it is for sure? I have the exact dana except 1 day different on the date

Your housing looks to be from a 67 Super Stock with the SKA 1604335, where did it come from?
I have the very same part number with the SKA also. The date is also only 1 day apart. Is there info showing it's an SS axle. Would be nice to know. Thank you
