Can't see to find NON finned brake drums for my dana 60.New beadlocks will not fit with the finned drums,,,,,,,,,HELP

Guess it's time for disc brakes.
Or 8 3/4 drums.
Or last resort have the fins machined off.
Anything possible with some $$$ and time...

But with the speeds you're going the disc brakes might be the safest option.

Send them to me! :D Well, I could machine the fins off....but are you sure if the fins were gone the wheels would fit? Trucks used non finned drums and I might have a pair if you're interested. If so, let me know and I'll take a look.

Thanks Cranky,no one seems to make an 11 X 2.5 smoothie. A good friend of mine has a Brockport & a lathe.

Brockport? That's a new one :D. Bridgeport maybe. I have a Bridgeport clone....a Republic Lagun that's made in Spain. It seems to be much better than the Asian clones. When I went out looking for a mill 25 years ago, all the used real Bridgeports were used up and expensive. I got a brand new Lagun for a little more than a used BP with a table full of holes from dumb asses drilling/milling through their work plus mine is a 10x50 vs all of the 9x42's I was running across. My lathe is a 15" LaBlond Regal......

Brockport,,,,,,Bridgeport,,,,,,,whateva the heck it is is in his shop. It's all good! Just comes in handy when good friends are always there to help me out!!
Thanks again for your offer!!

I had some 11" drums from a pickup but can't remember how wide they were. My 2000 Durango has 11" on it too and they look like they might be at least 2.5 wide. Can't remember if they are finned or not though. Ya might look up them up....just might work.
