Although the loss is tremendous and new days aren't created in a way that some would understand, no one can take away all those beautiful memories. God bless you and your family, my friend. I can only imagine how your heart aches, Wayne. My daughter's birthday is tomorrow (29). I imagine the only way you can really go on after that loss is one day at a time. Take what you can from the good memories.

Thanks everyone! Late to the "party" here as I had zero notifications that anyone commented, which I found a bit weird, so I had to search out the thread.

Posting is just my way of "keeping her alive" and because of her I became the patient inspiration sharer that I believe I am these days.

My Bee, Therapy, would never have been completed nor would I even be a part of this forum if it wasn't for Jennifer's Ewing's Sarcoma battle. The Bee restoration got me through the first 4.5 years after her passing, the Bird another and now it's the Dart keeping me sane. I just keep plugging "forward" and hope I don't run out of garage space as I'll never "move on".

I can't help but see beauty and find it a terrible shame to see it go away. We are supposed to apply equal value to all but it stings a lot more to lose a sweet soul that is beautiful in so many ways even beyond what you see with your eyes.

Mine are acting up today as well Paul!! All that work (a full year, 5 days a week of physio) to learn how to walk again, the first in the world to walk unassisted on an unattached leg, only to have the Ewing's go to her skull, brain (another first in the world as Ewings had no known cases above the shoulder documented) and her lungs as well. She fought every obstacle with a smile and courage and seemed like she had it beat, only to have it consume her instead.
