Anybody know what it sold for? What is the controversy with this car? I guess I had not followed it that closely. I watched most of the Live Auction, but did not see the Daytona. There were not many Mopars, but I did see a 66 Hemi Coronet sell for what I thought was pretty cheap.

Former Race Cars can be some of the hardest cars to document and verify, .......especially if they has been trashed, forgotten about, gone unrecognized for any length of time and then restored.

this chassis may have been some kind or race chassis at one point , but nichels had specific ways they built there cars and terry nichels has looked at this chassis and said no way .

Just took a few minutes to compare the pictures in the listing to the numerous pictures of this car that I already had, ....paint chips around the grill and on the rear valance below the rear bumper are the same, .....all decal placement is the exact same,....all interior detail and under hood details are the same.......this IS the car,........It's Legit.

Well I'd give my left nut also but you would have to talk to my wife first, because she has them both in a vice death grip!
