Well after seeing the crappy welds that last guy did and thinking I need to have better flow anyway I decide to go with some Flowmaster super 40's and 3 " pips all the way back keeping the factory tips cuz well they are factory and bad *** Mopar parts :)

Thinking by next weekend I can have it all welded up. I will shoot a video of the sound after it's done so others can hear and decide on it if anyone is looking. :headbang:

Oh and with the 3" I am getting an H pipe put in for balance. all for $450 Yes we have high prices here in Cal!

BIGMAN... thats a great price...i got mine all for 600....and i didnt think that was too bad. good deal ya gettin there. i put flow master 40 's on mine and i love em.

idles nice but not too obnoxious....
i have an ANNOYING drone from 1900 to 2100 RPM....but above 2100 RPM...its like theres no loud PIPS ( just mocking your typo...made me laff tho ).... at all.....quiet as anything and i can hear my classic Areosmith (toys in the attic....when Areosmith was good) ... blastin on the stereo at 80 MPH .....with just a nice melodic hummmmmmm commin out of the PIPS... lol

I have 3" pipes with the x-pipe and TTI headers on my Coronet R/T. It is loud with the Dynomax mufflers and I head that Flowmaster are the loudest.

Not really sure why not x pip vs h pip lmao but guess I could tell him to do x don't think there is any price diff, what about sound or performance? x vs h?

I think a smaller diameter, say 2-1/2", is louder than 3". The larger diameter and x pipe supposedly help with flow.

ok,,,my ribs hurt after that one....LMAOOOOOOOOOOO:blob1:

.......PLEASE WELCOME BIGMANJBMOPAR AND THE PIPS..... singing their new hit ....Midnight Road Runner to Georgia

I personally prefer an H pipe sound compared to the X. Yea the X make a little more power. Nice price, I have some super 44s for my car, but ill be making my system 3.5" with a 3" cross over

I have the 2" TTI headers and their 3" exh with the X-pipe out to the rear bumper. To me the X-pipe sounds about the same as it did with an H-pipe. Ron

Ron, did you notice better performance out of the X?.....
...just asking, not trying to be an a$$.

Yeh, i have the same as 383 man TTI 2" headers with 3" x pipe mandrel bent and the dynomax mufflers out the back.

Sounds tough and not to loud at idle but when you give it a bootful sounds like a lions roar so to speak and theres no crackling or popping, shame tti pipe wasnt stainless but oh well

Sonny I could not say as I put the new 3" X-pipe system on when I changed engines to my 493. The old 440 ran mid 11's and this eng of course runs in the 10's. I wish I could compared but I did not. Ron
