Hi guys.

So, last week I scored an 18 spline a833 and bellhousing for my 71 charger. I am now in the process of amassing parts to make the swap, as originally this is a 440/727 car.

The bellhousing that came with the trans is an earlier cast-iron model, for a 1968 car. I assume this will work okay with my setup, as the trans is the correct one with the dual shifter pads.

The only question is, what kind of flywheel do I need to get with this bellhousing? A 143 tooth one? Will one from a 318 work?

I will have to take the flywheel to get balanced no matter what I buy, and the way my assembly was balanced by the shop, they had to add metal to my flex plate so unfortunately I will have a custom balance, which is more money and less resale value but oh well.

Would this flywheel be okay for my use? I would f course resurface and balance it. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=201309914880

Thanks guys!

I'll also be looking for clutch pedals if anyone has a lead one those, and a shifter. Please PM me if you have any info!
