Decode of vin

I have a 1966 Satellite / Belvedere. The vin starts with RP what does the P stand for?
I see premium on line . But I am told it is a Belvedere not a Satellite I am told if it is a 66 Satellite it would be a RS. Is that correct?

R for Plymouth, P for Premium. RS is for a 67 GTX
