I have not yet taken delivery but it is bought and paid for and in storage at the dealers. I paid MSRP. Dealer (Leamington Chrysler) absolutely refuses to sell cars for more than MSRP. The principal dealer there, Tim Vida, is a stand up guy. They have a tiny dealership but ended up getting three Demons because of their attitude about selling for MSRP. The car I got was unallocated and could have gone to any dealer. I ended up getting the car because the Chrysler zone rep liked my story about involvement with Mopars for almost 50 years. I also agreed not to re-sell the car. That wasn't a hard decision as I am really looking forward to posting a "wheels up" photo once the weather is decent in Ontario.

Dodge claimed a top speed of 215MPH but its factory speed limited to 152MPH.

Dodge also stated the Demon170 is the worlds fastest muscle car ever produced, in which case the 2018 Demon has a higher top speed (162MPH)

The Super Stock Challengers are are speed limited to 168.

The RedEye’s will do 203MPH.

They are speed limited because of the soft compound drag tires. Those tires are not speed rated for 200 plus miles per hour.

Unless you are planning on drag racing these,the Demon 170 and Demon aren't really practical for normal driving, even the Super Stock is more suited for drag racing. The 797 horsepower Hellcat Challenger Redeye is the best all around package. It is being referred to as Demon light! I have heard Direct Connection now offers a tuning package to get 850 horsepower out of the Redeye, should the 797 not be enough for your liking. I hope to be in a slightly used Hellcat Challenger Redeye, hopefully by this time next year. That said, congratulations on your Demon 170 purchase! It's good to be king! There is something to be said for being able to walk into to a Dodge dealership, do some paperwork and walk out like Ronnie Sox!
