Diagnosing multiple misfires in a computer controlled car

I'd be putting traps & bait out for any of them lil'-chewing bastards
post haste

I found a pile of shredded paper towels in my RR trunk
& some lil' turds on a rag I had over my switch panel in the car
that was the trigger for me
Angles Pest Control came out, to the rescue
& to do it on their regular spraying routine if needed
we just put the bait & traps, so the dogs/cats can't get into
we did it under the house & corners of the garage
away from the car/truck
them lil' bastards,

I didn't see anyplace they had chewed on the car/truck "yet"
knock on wood/simulated Formica :poke:

it was some cubes of stuff, dark green & almost black
in some like ABS plastic triangle open traps they crawl into & eat
we put lil' bricks on top of them so it won't move
& cats or dogs can't get at it
the mice/rats supposedly love it, then makes them thirsty/dehydrated
& go away then drink excessive amounts of water & bloat/die
"allegedly eco-friendly" for birds & predators dogs/cats
if they eat the lil' bastards too...
I highly doubt it, but the problem was gone,
after the 2 times over 2 weeks baiting/traps...
now the bait is still in the traps & no lil' fury bastards

I never did see any bodies

I thought with all the damn neighbors cats around here
the mice wouldn't ever be an issue, 'no dead cats either'
in the 17+ year here, it was the only time I had any issues
ever with them lil' fury bastards...

not this kind of trap, but that'd work too
but you're luring them in then also

It's possible that someone knows more than a honda drivetrain engineer about rodent prevention, yes.

With the Honda running fine again, I bought THIS:

Mary did some online research and found that peppermint is offensive to rodents.

I sprayed the wires under the hood and now the car smells like Christmas.
I actually like peppermint. Candy canes. Peppermint ice cream is great too.
I guess time will tell if this helps.
Mary keeps talking about getting an outdoor cat. I’m not against it.

Interesting on the spray...
Is it normally in a garage? I have a fool proof trap if so.. and the cat(s) will clear up an outdoor problem in no time. 24 hr terminators that love it.

You mean free food acts as a DISincentive for them to fend for themselves? Like a rodent food stamp program?

Black Snakes are better than cats if you have them in your area. They can get in tighter areas. They lay eggs in rotting wood piles (I assume for the heat), so I've made some wood piles in a few areas around the property to encourage them to hang around.
Also the 5 gallon mouse trap filled with water works good too, use peanut butter as bait. I usually only catch some in the spring, I assume the snakes are getting the rest.
