It got me in NJ, specifically Jersey City (which is where I went to college) not where I was raised or currently live...pretty fascinating

I am north of the 49th, but tried anyway. Placed me in Minneapolis, which is 7 hours south of me.

Mine pegged me with Pittsburgh, but they knew that when I answered the first question with "yinz".

I figured out the one question that took me from 50% of the US to one of two cities, and a suburb of another.

Gym Shoes.

Apparently no one else calls them that...anywhere.

I think it was "Devils Night" that outed me and BigBlock61. :icon_idea:

I tried this just for fun since I'm Canadian. I'm either from Salt Lake City or Tacoma. But it does show close to Buffalo on all the maps. I'm about 30 miles west away from Buffalo NY in Canada.

I need to edit to invite everyone, really just meant the map covered US dialects but would be interesting to see where people from outside of North America would end up if they gave it a shot.

Close Northeast. Hudson Valley NY area is where I grew up. I've lived in Florida for 5 years. Longest I've ever lived in one place since 1987.

spot on........... has me in philly, but philly is on the edge of the darkest red, which is right over south jersey........we are not philly!...... and not the least bit similar to north jersey

pegged me in the Rockford/Aurora/Chicago area. pretty cool
