I believe the code just didn't get stamped. I have the same issue on my 69' 383 Cuda. No A57 code, but it has every option that came with the A57 PKG on the tag,and On the build sheet.

There is no way to go back and get the original build sheet, is there? So many of you all have them and I don't...is there some sort of after market service??

You'd be surprised, the number of people with build sheets for there cars are definitely in the minority. It is rather rare to have the correct build sheet for your car.

I have a '74 lynch road rallye. I haven't seen a lynch road with A57 yet.

Mine also, fortunately, has the V21 hood treatment which is only a rallye option.

In my case the car is an "L" code which was only offered with the rallye package. I'm not sure about the U code, but, doesn't matter.
