did they ever make a fiberglass aircleaner base?

At a friends and he had a duel quad lower fiberglass air cleaner base. It was like the 6 pack base. I thought hemi but could not find any numbers on it. It has to be over 20 years old. Your thoughts?
 
Yup. Agree. I know AirGrabber baseplates have been reproduced in fiberglass, although the originals were metal.
 
Year one offered many fiberglass set ups. I believe they still sell them today.

I bought a 4BBL/air-grabber fibreglass piece from Year One many years ago..... a bit junky, but it worked.
 
There was a guy on Moparts, who made some that were heavier & actually pretty good... He would make custom ones to connect engines/manifolds/carb & hoods that were never originally connected... Very talented... He went by "Paint it Black" had a Black AAR Clone... Then he bought a sport bike... Two months later he was gone...
