Dim dash lights

I have a 76 Cordoba with less than 10k miles. The dash lights are very dim and hard to see at night. We have replaced a bad bulb and checked connections, even replacing the light switch. Even with the switch turned to its brightest setting, the dash remains very dim. Any suggestions?

Not too familiar with the newer model B-Bodies, but does your dash have the dash voltage limiter like the older B-Bodies?

Lights do not feed threw the voltage limiter. Is the dash ground wire attached? Should be a single feed to back of circuit board.
