Stock the 68 charger had a mechanical dimmer in the dash. It was a rheostat. They tend to corrode and fail. You may have luck cleaning them up. You could get it restored by JS Restorations, or buy a repp.

The dimmer works good but i wanted all the interior lights to dim slowly when they go off. Just wondering if i need the module to do that
