Dip Stick Length

Can anyone give me the length of the oil dip stick from the cap to the end for a 361 bb? I assume a383 would be the same? Thanks

I just fill the sump with the prescribed
amount of oil and mark stick accordingly.

I’d just like to know if my dip stick is correct. I just changed the oil and filter. Added about 4.7 qts. and the stick shows like a qt over full.

Did you run the engine, if not run it and then check.

Length doesn't matter. Bottoming out sucks.
Girth is everything.
