SOLD Direct Connection Stage IV Cylinder Heads

These are a set of original Mopar Performance Stage IV cast iron cylinder heads from Direct Connection. My uncle bought them new back in the 70's and never used them. They've been sitting in his garage ever since and have never been bolted on an engine. Need to be cleaned up but they are in over all good shape. All valves are there but no springs.

Intake valve size - 2.08
Exhaust valve size - 1.74

I looked these up in the Mopar Big Block Engines Manual and it doesn't specify, but
are these Max-Wedge ports? They say the ports are larger on both intake and exhaust,
but that's about it. Thanks!

Good question. Normally, they will state if it is a Max Wedge or not. Bigger ports can just mean that. Not necessarily Max Wedge head.

Accept in reality (Not what Mopar printed in the Direct Connection Catalog) the ports are virtually identical to 906 heads... They have extra material that allows more grinding in key areas to improve flow but as cast they aren't anything special... But certain racers know exactly where you can/should grind on them to get the most from them....
