I'm trying to rebuild a rust bucket of a Charger, and I could really use some help from you guys. Could anyone with a '68-'70 Charger kindly take a measurement for me? :praying: I need the distance between the mounting points for the dash – specifically between the inner cowl side hinge panels.

I've attached some photos in the hope that they'll clarify what I mean.

Fingers crossed there are some helpful Charger folks out there :thankyou:

I can take that dimension easily. It’s 59” exactly. Same width as the dash frame. What are you coming up with?

Thank you very much for the feedback, @Richard Cranium  Richard, I see you’ve made a rotisserie for your dash - are you renovating your dash yourself?

Is there anyone else here who can confirm Richard's measurement? I had a somewhat larger measurement, but I strongly suspect that mine is incorrect.

No rotisserie, just a stand & yes, I am restoring it myself. Going with the Dakota gauges. the dimensions I gave were from my car which, other than paint, hasn't been touched in that area.

Those structural panels, and the associated dimension in question, are common among all 68-70 b bodies, not just Chargers. Measured two to verify 59" even (pretty much 1500mm even): a '69 Satellite rag, and a '70 Coronet - both untouched & factory in this regard.

Thank you, Mark :praying:
