Does anyone sell a distributor cap for a 440 that isn't the factory tan color?

yeah you can get them in black. When I got my distributor from FBO it came with a black and tan cap so I could choose which color. I went with tan.

With my engine bay color and block color, black would look better. I haven't been able to locate one though

Did you try NAPA or Advance or Auto Zone. They usually have caps that are not stock color as I recall.
NAPA's Milage Plus series I believe is black
MPE MO20SB

I tried the local NAPA and all he could get was tan. I've looked online and not been able to find one, but you never know if they list everything they've actually got

Paint it! Just make sure you get one that's the heavy duty one...thick and has ribs inside. All the others are junk.

i've seen black, blue, and tan. try the chain stores. pretty sure i have a blue one, no cracks, would need the contacts cleaned unless you're after a new one.

I believe I have had a grey one.
While thinking towards that direction , I have a Dist. cap question. The caps that are made so the left bank spark plug wires are all on the left side of the dist cap and the right side wires on the right half of the dist. --Looks neat with no wires crossing at the dist. Are those available in the Mopar tan color??......................MO

I got a clear one here....

no..it's a clear see-through cap...looks yellowish due to the lighting in the garage when I took the pic

Everyone probably thinks i'm nuts for using Standard Motor products coil and distributor cap, but I decided to go with the blue theme for all that!

Cap, coil, wires? I don't see any cap, coil or wires. What is this a stealth engine?......... oh wait...........never mind.

You guys found a bunch of them for me. IDK why i couldn't locate any...I seemed to have looked in the same places, too. Thanks for your help!
