Distributor Identification

I have a big block distributor with the number 2875346 cast on it.

Any idea what it is from (year, make, model)?

Also on the distributor are the numbers 3 17.

Are these perhaps the build date for the distributor?

I have a few with numbers cast on them also.

That number (2875346) is listed in an old Pertronix catalog (from 2003) as a Chrysler application. Perhaps it isn't a factory original part but is an aftermarket replacement.
