Do headers on a 318 make a difference when adding dual exhaust?

Agreed.
It will be noticible. It depends on the
total. (I wouldn't stop at just a
custom set of headers).
Penny wise and pound foolish.
We're all guilty.
It's up to the OP as to where the line
is drawn.
Case in point....
The year-1970
The car-1964 Falcon Ranchero
The engine-260 CID V-8
That little thing after the mods
was a high winder amd a complete
blast to drive.

how to make what you have perform
to your liking.
Hence...who in their right mind
would invest in making a 318
go far beyond it's intended
purposes?
