Im getting ready to remove my 408 stroker small block and my champion aluminum radiator. Once i drain the coolant from the radiator, do i need to drain it from the block also? If so how would that work?
Probably not necessary to pull the block drains but your going to loose some coolant out of the engine in the process. I think it’s almost unavoidable. Pulling the drains in the sides of the block to better drain it is also probably going to create a bit of a mess and sometimes those block drains are tough to get out.
If you want to reduce the mess, yeah, pull the block drains...
