i have heard many stories here lately about people getting scam one way or another on this board, excuse me if there is one that i do not know about here, but maybe the administrators can gather up complaints from members here about certain members on this board who cheat and still from fellow members i know there is always two sides to each story, but there should be a way for each side to explain and show evidents to clear them selfs of allegations, like showing shipping info or receipts of payments, someone in the administration here to clear there name if they can not prove themselfs from allegations they should be terminated or suspended, someone has to be the judge in the administration for fbbo, what do you guys think about that any more ideas or suggestions let the board know, its wrong for someone to steal. thanks to all who responds in any they want.show there names and etc in a section for everyone to see until they clear there name.

I hear ya johnny but I've been pretty active and I can recall about 3 reported scam alerts counting this one ... and the members were pretty vocal about letting everyone know about each incident. I can't speak for Joey but I don't think we mods can keep up with that

Another car forum I am a member of has a thread called Good Guys and Bad Guys but it's mainly for retail parts suppliers, whether forum members or not.

One of the gun forums I visit frequently has a section for "Straight Shooters and Deadbeats." Anyone can post a "straight shooter" thread, but it takes an admin to authorize a "deadbeat" thread...very few deadbeat threads, or even requests for them on that site all told, but the ones that do get requested are quite significant.

Over there we find that there are several well respected sellers (some commercial, some just swapping and trading) that are pretty active, and it doesn't take long for them to get a pretty hefty "straight shooter" section on them. The rest of the members tend to trade only occasionally, so it sort of self meters--or so it seems.

There would be to much chance of some no mind trying to sue for any reason
and you can not expect to put some one donating their time to be put at risk

I very much DIS-like people who have multiple screen names.especially when the converse with themselves:argue:

Wall of Shame !
Thats what is on a karting site I am a member of. But it needs to be aproved by an administraiter.

Maybe a section that one can dump their beefs into rather than the general discussion forum. Might be easier for the mods to police as well. Call it the Wild West or shootout at the OK Corral.

I don't think it's a good idea. Forums like this tend to be one sided, and you read all sorts of ranting about how someone views a particular situation and nothing from the other party. I know from personal experience selling on eBay that it doesn't matter how much you talk to some people, tell them what's going on, make your business processes known to them, etc., they'll still find something to bitch about.

:iamwithstupid: I don't really see many if maybe 4-5 in a few years, usually about someone not answering a bunch of PM's or e-mails in a timely manner, usually always have a medical excuse too {seems like anyway, real or fake allot or to make a lame excuse} or the seller not shipping when they said they would... IMHFO the way it's all handled now, is pretty damn good, I think we all kind of self police here, pretty damn well... Just don't torch someone in a deadbeat type thread until you've exhausted all avenues 1st, wait enough/appropriate amount of time for traditional shipping or payment {for a slow boat from China to get parts to you}, then post it up so we know who not to trust or deal with, they will be called out, pretty swiftly.... my $0.02 cents

this board has a lot of people on it and everyone will not see certain threads about someone outright stealing that is why i lobby for a section here for everyone to go to and see who has been stealing if that person can not clear there name, make it part of the rules here before they sign up and agree to follow fbbo user laws for any new sign ups, there have to be ways to keep people better informed for the simple reason everyone is not going see every single thread on this board, that why i say a section called buyers beware so people can go and look before they buy.those people must clear their names before reinstatement.if they refuse then this board much better off.there are people here who would loved to play good cop on this board.the moderators here do a great job here all of them.

First, let me say this. Its not going to happen.

To begin with, many people don't bother to read anything. Right where you start your post to make a for sale thread it says clearly DO NOT POST EMAIL ADDRESSES OR PHONE NUMBERS, yet we have to moderate new ads every day for just that reason.

Second of all, I cant tell you how many times I've received an email about how someone "robbed me" - only to have the whole thing cleared up a few days later. Now you want me to force people to scan shipping receipts, email them to me and then for me to sit in judgment? Sorry, I'm not gonna do it. FBBO isn't here to "play cop".

I'm curious as to whom he is referring too? The trader score system works use it.

maybe the alias' are trying to hide from your stalking. It is pretty freaking scary, you just never know when someone will SNAP and go full retard on you.
