Do you think I can hook with these tires?

no probably, not very well anyway, especially with over 1000 hp... But, I could be completely wrong though...

I guess it depends on what type suspension, where the center of gravity is, how hard the car hits the tire already, what size rim they're mounted on, what compond they actally are, what air pressures your going to use/run, what weight of car & were the weight is in the car or % front to rear & how high of an RPM you leave at etc., 1075 hp @ the crank "I presume", will still be 850+hp @ the wheels/tire... added- how good the track is prepped too

4 speed car, ladder bar suspension, with double adjustables front and rear. nothing but the best in the car.

Well going to the link and looking at the tire pictured.
Not a chance in hell.
But reading the description,I guess you might if you don't leave off a trans brake at 5500 rpm.
I think this might have been a test to see if we would look at the picture.
I have a set of those tire's on my dually.

Missed the 4-speed part.

I found a correct style loooking 4 speed shifter for it. the price was right but need the correct white ball with 24 fine thread. im thinking getting the shifter rechromed. its real nice but not perfect.

Guys are running 4 second 1/8 mile on 275 drag radials. It may be possible, but will be a challenge with a stick. Go For It!

Drag radial yes, Pro Street tire I would say no. If we were racing for money and I had a say 10 second car I'd go head up with you betting that you would blow the tire off either off the line or down track somewhere. Is there a reason you did not get a Drag Radial?

I keep forgetting to ask what kind of transmission it has. Is it a g-froce or jerico? Dies the trans self-neutral when you let off the gas?

its a huge tire 31 x 18.50 and running a hemi 4 speed 18 spline. couldnt find a drag radial big enough to fill the rear 1/4's

given the nature of the tire and the fact that the 4 gear will "shock" the suspension, unless you slip the clutch( bad idea with all that power) i really dont think you will hook the beast. IMHO. what about using the M/T sportsman pro? it is dot and a wrinlke wall tire but it is not a radial. just a thought.

Looks like a good snow tire to me....:toothy6:

Ever see the F.A.S.T guys. They are getting into the 9's on red line's. After seeing that i say anything is possible. Just need to work on the launch
