Do your own chrome and cad plating

I actually have eastwoods plating kit for tinning/zinc type plating. Never ended up using it though, now it's just sitting in my garage.

This would have been nice to have before I spent $700 on shoddy work done by 'Superior Chrome' out of TX. They do NOT do pot metal well. I could have done it myself...for less(!) and had better results. Get a buddy or two to split the costs and this suddenly gets real cheap!

Sorry about your experience Dako. I had awesome work done by a local chrome shop here in Utah for about the same price you paid. Pot metal isn't cheap nor is it easy to do right.
