Does anyone eat Taco Bell anymore

I have one close by the house and hit it up from time to time. Also works for road trip food. I certainly don't live off it, or any fast food, but sometimes you get the craving and just need to get the job done. And I must make a very important clarification: Taco Bell is not Mexican food. It's Taco Bell. If I want Mexican food I go to my hole in the wall Mexican place and eat well. Plus the guys know me because of my cars. I may be a first generation Roosky, but also a CA native, so I do know what real Mexican food is.

Taco Bell came out with an app for smartphones. You order from your phone, Taco Bell tracks how far away you are from your phone's GPS coordinates, they use that info to calculate when to make your Taco Bell so it's ready just as you pull up to the drive through. They are trying it out at their Orange County locations first. I can think of better uses for technology, but there you have it. I eat it about once a year when I'm in a situation where I'm really hungry and there aren't many other choices.

Taco Belch? I drive about 25k miles a year on business, and they are my "go to" quick lunch. Some better than others, but I would rather go there than Mickey D's.

I like the tostadas and anything from the fresco menu. Lots of veggies. It's a toss up to say which is the messiest to eat in a car. Taco Bell or a Subway sandwich both usually leave a lot of the fixin's in my lap.

Evidently it is poipular in my area, but I have a lot of Mexicans in my area. Myself, no as they use horse meat, their food tasts cheap, plus I have never liked spanish food. This is all coming from a guy who is obsessed with fast food, and has a gift card for every occation.

I have never seen anyone of Hispanic descent at a Taco Bell yet, working or as a customer. There is a family owned "real" Mexican restaurant in Gettysburg that's excellent. I'm not sure what the stuff is that T.B serves? There's also a great place in Westminster Md. too!

I drop in occasionally and get 4 taco supremes and a pepsi .its in a building with kfc here so sometimes I get a 3 piece meal instead,,still like taco bell even if they are using monkey meat as long as I cant see them skinning it im ok

Don't eat there so much anymore, but in my partying days I would stop there on the way home from a club and order so much crap that I had to order 2 drinks so they didn't think it was just me eating it alone.nothing like waking up with a half eaten burrito supreme on your belly after you've passed out.ah the good old days

Taco Bell.... :thinker: isn't that the Mexican Phone Company??? :tongueflap:

I told MowPar about this thread, and said every time he ate there, it turned into the best cure for constipation. I ate there several times...not sure what it was, as the Drive-thru attendant couldn't understand a single word I said...must be an accent thing :tard:

Can eat and be full for $5.

That isn't "FULL" that you are experiencing, it's most likely the TB instant diarrhea syndrome that many get from their "?" food. Well, at least, if you're backed up, TB will get you movin again. But it won't be Back on the road again, it'll be Back on the commode again.

Taco John's is far better for fast food here.

Oh I agree with you there! Definitely better. My little 110lb wife turns into a freaking vicious Bengal Tiger, if trying to snatch one of her Potato Ole's from that place.

I haven't eaten "real" fast food, like McD's, Burger King, Jack in the Box, in probably 7 years or so now, I use to go to Taco Bell thou, I liked them, but Carls Jr.'s & Wendy's were my favorite Fast Food joints, because they had a salad bar & I love Frosties & Bake Potatoes... or A&W, Dairy Queen Drive Ins with car Hops or Sonic was decent too {not really fast food in the true sense of the term thou}, I don't think we don't have a Dairy Queen, Sonics, A&W or a Wendy's here, the Taco Bell was the flyby inexpensive & quicky food usually.... Still do KFC once a month or so, not really fast food here it takes forever... When I was down SoCal, I would get slammers or burgers at White Castle thou...

Ah, A Royal Castle slider sounds great!!!!

Just come to Calif., you will see them working & buying there @ TB here, in droves...

Haha. Love the educational lessons you give us cr8crshr

I didn't think the food in Barcelona was very tasty. Maybe I ate at the wrong places though. I don't think Mexicans consider Taco Bell Mexican food. That's like saying Panda Express is Chinese food...

Best thing at Taco Bell is the deluxe fries and 7 bean burrito

Wow! I'd forgotten about Taco John"s. When I lived down by Seattle there used to be a Taco John's in Lynnwood. It had the best Mexican fast food of any of the chains by far. I drove there one day for lunch and out of the blue it was closed and gone for good. I was heartbroken. The nearest one now is about a hundred miles south by Ft. Lewis. A little too far for a quick lunch.
